Sheikh ‘Ubayd al-Jaabiree, may Allaah preserve him, said:
“…Likewise from this are matters such as the affirmation of the position of the close devoted worshippers of Allaah, meaning that there are those righteous people who are considered from Allaah’s close devoted worshippers who properly fear him, from the people who adhere to the Sunnah.”
