Sheikh Sheikh Abdullah an-Najmee, may Allaah preserve him, said,
11 – The Muslim Brotherhood group and organization is diligent in their criticizing and warning against any individual who corrects them or advises them of their mistakes or those of their leaders. Yet their warnings are not based upon evidenced mistakes found in those original warnings as weighed upon the scales of the Book and the Sunnah, but based and put forward upon distortions, false accusations, insinuations, and at times clear fabrications and open slander. Their apparent aim is to drive the people away from paying attention to any criticism of their party and its leaders, as well as away from that scholar who criticized them scholastically with established evidences and guided explanations. This is not a new matter in the history of Islaam but simply a new ugly manifestation of the established practice of the misguided astray sects through the centuries, which they resort to whenever they encounter clarifications and explanations of how their group or sect differs with the statements of the Messenger of Allaah, and the ways of his rightly guided successors, and those who followed their believers’ way. Since, when confronted with knowledge based refutations, the misguided sects cannot scholastically offer evidences and principles to show how their newly innovated beliefs, statements, forms of worship, and methodologies conform to the preserved Sunnah, they can only attack slander, label, whisper, backbite, distort, and openly lie to drive Muslims away from the people of knowledge who only fulfilled their obligation to enjoin the good, forbid the wrong, give naseehah, and clarify misguidance that the Muslims would be harmed by.’
