Lesson 3: Principle: The people of the Sunnah and the Jamaa’ah believe that adherence to the Jamaa’ah is the foundation from the foundations of the religion.

Sheikh Muhammad Naasiruddeen al-Albaanee, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said,
“The foundations of the methodology of the first three generations are established upon three pillars:
1) The Noble Qur’aan, 2) the authentic Sunnah, 3) and understanding these two sources upon the methodology of the first three righteous generations of believers: the companions of the Messenger of Allaah, may the praise and salutations of Allaah be upon him, the Taabi’een, the successors to the Companions, and the third generation which followed them.
And the cause for the misguidance and going astray of all of the various sects and groups, in the past as well as modern times, is a failure to adhere clearly to these three pillars.”
