Fifty Scholastic Observations Regarding The Muslim Brotherhood [04 of 50]

This entry is part 5 of 49 in the series 50 Scholastic Observations About the Muslim Brotherhood

Sheikh Sheikh ‘Abdullah an-Najmee, may Allaah preserve him, said,

‘4 – From the significant matters of misguidance of the Muslim Brotherhood organization is their innovative form of organizational and party structure which divides and weakens the Muslims. This significant innovation has undoubtedly caused them to fall into many other secondary misguided matters which oppose the Sunnah. For many unknowing Muslims, it has altered for a generation of their followers the essential understanding of how Muslims can correct their weakened state and situation and the priorities Muslims should have in their lives. Rather than a call which reflects the blessed life history of the Prophet and is focused upon spreading the fundamental correct beliefs and obligations of worship upon the Sunnah, instead their primary focus and call has been towards organizational growth and activities, joined with political intrigue and inspiring revolutions to achieve an Islamic state. This innovated organization only supports a secondary focus on knowledge and worship whenever it supports that and can be used to further their primary political objectives. Their call, despite paying it lip service, is actually devoid of consistent foundational efforts to advance the clear call upon the prophetic methodology whose core focus is gradual education, clarification, and implementation of authentic source texts before all else in order to develop an Islamic character and individual, and to better Muslim societies and the Ummah as a whole.’
