Sheikh Muhammad Baazmool, may Allaah preserve him said,
“It is not from the way of the first three generations of Muslims to derive a ruling or position from every single individual verse or hadeeth narration, until it is shown that is it a verse from the clear unambiguous verses or a hadeeth from those hadeeth narrations containing a definitive meaning which must be adhered to.”
