Sheikh Sheikh ‘Abdullah an-Najmee, may Allaah preserve him, said,

’34 – The Muslim Brotherhood group and organization’s members often focus on, and are occupied with reading newspapers and news magazines, as well as the books of various modern thinkers and commentators. This preoccupation prevents them from obtaining authentic Sharee’ah knowledge from the source texts and works of the steadfast scholars in Islaam, which would truly rectify them and then gradually society.’
