Sheikh Sheikh ‘Abdullah an-Najmee, may Allaah preserve him, said,

’29 – The Muslim Brotherhood group and organization has instituted the practice of the members requiring upon themselves individually to donate a specific amount of money regularly to pay for the various open and clandestine activities of the group. This is outside of the evidenced obligatory matters of zakat and similar Sharee’ah practices.’
