Fifty Scholastic Observations Regarding The Muslim Brotherhood [14 of 50]

This entry is part 15 of 49 in the series 50 Scholastic Observations About the Muslim Brotherhood

Sheikh Sheikh ‘Abdullah an-Najmee, may Allaah preserve him, said,

’14 – It is been noted regarding the Muslim Brotherhood group and organization that they distribute audio cassettes and lectures that contain material which is prohibited in the Sharee’ah and harmful to the Muslims. An example of this is lectures and sermons where they expose and point out the transgressions and faults of the different rulers of Muslim countries in order to cause the people to have enmity for them and rise up and oppose them. Sufficient for the Muslim with intellect is the practical result of this focus as seen today in the destruction of Syrian society. Yet this practice of distributing such lectures and writings reflects their misguided orientation and focus on politics and the Muslim rulers. The short sighted focus on changing the government and replacing the rulers also shows a glaring ignorance of the sunnah of Allaah in creation explained clearly by many noble scholars in the past such as Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy upon him. Ibn al-Qayyim, clearly mentioned the state of religious weakness and deficiency in the rulers only reflects the state of religious weakness and deficiency that is also found in the general Muslims themselves. Such that the former, meaning the rulers, will generally not be truly changed and returned back to the proper practice of Islaam in guiding the Muslims, until the latter, the general Muslims, change and return back to the proper practice of Islaam in guiding their individual lives.’
