Fifty Scholastic Observations Regarding The Muslim Brotherhood [05 of 50]

This entry is part 6 of 49 in the series 50 Scholastic Observations About the Muslim Brotherhood

Sheikh Sheikh ‘Abdullah an-Najmee, may Allaah preserve him, said,

‘5 – The Muslim Brotherhood group and organization and its leaders and intellectuals are those who have been known to openly criticize and speak about the Muslim rulers, publicly exposing their faults and transgressions. Their approach in this issue abandons several authentic points of guidance regarding correcting the errors of the Muslim rulers found in the Sunnah and affirmed by the various leading scholars throughout the centuries. It also, in several ways echoes, the innovation of the early sect of the Khawaarij who have always been distinguished by their open revolt against, and public calls to overthrow, the Muslim leader. This position of the sect of the Khawaarij, which is central to their deviated methodology, opposed the sound understanding of the scholars among the many Companions who were present among them, and so made permissible the shedding of the blood of many innocent Muslims, from both the ruler and the ruled.’
