Sheikh al-Fauzaan, may Allaah preserve him, said,
‘…Oh Muslim youth! Oh students of knowledge! Connect yourselves to your scholars, attach yourselves to them, and take knowledge from them. Attach yourselves to the reliable scholars well known for the correctness of their beliefs and the soundness of their methodology, in order that you may take knowledge from them and establish your connection with your Prophet, may Allaah’s praise and His salutations be upon him, as your pious predecessors did.
The Muslims have never ceased receiving this knowledge from their Prophet, through their scholars, generation after every generation. ‘
