The Prophet, may Allaah’s praise and salutations be upon him, said, {There will be trials that will confront you.} The Companions, may Allaah be pleased with them Allaah asked, What should we do then? The Prophet replied, {Turn and refer back to the original way of your religion.}
Sheikh al-Albaanee, may Allaah have mercy upon him, stated that this was an authentic narration in Silsilaat al-Hadeeth as-Saheehah: no. 3165.
