A sisters' circle in which we discuss topics related to the book
The stereotype of the Muslim woman is that of an oppressed, ignorant, repressed individual, confined to her house, shackled by her religion. This is blatantly untrue- but what, then, is the role of the Muslim woman in her family and society as a whole?
This study circle is general in scope and for men.
This is a learning circle for brothers who want to learn their religion from the true and correct sources, and to understand it from the wise words of the salaf and the people of knowledge, insh'Allaah. As gaining knowledge in the religion is an obligation on every male and female Muslim. Along with this knowledge comes righteous action based upon knowledge, calling to that which we have learned, and patient perseverence concerning all of these. The purpose of this group is to study different aspects of the religion from reliable sources.
