About the Class
Life is a learning process, one that has high points and low points, times of difficulty and times of ease, times of great joy and those of great sorrow. We may be tested with sickness and health, prosperity and impoverishment, with the necessity of always making choices. But we are not blind when we reach these crossroads in our lives; rather, The One Who Created Us, the Lord of All the Worlds, has, through His Mercy and Wisdom, provided Muslims with the answer key to these tests, the map which gives us direction and purpose as we try to navigate through this life in the best way possible, to ensure success in that life which will never end in the Hereafter.
Where is this found?
In the Qur’aan and the Sunnah, as understood, explained and practiced by the Pious Predecessors. And for those of us not able to read the maps well on our own, He has further gifted us with the Scholars- those people of knowledge in our time and the past who are the inheritors of the Prophets, who can explain and lead us to clarity regarding the beautiful religion of Islaam, with the success and guidance of Allaah.
In this weekly class for sisters only, Umm Mujaahid, Khadijah Bint Lacina, will utilize the works of various well-known scholars and people of knowledge to teach, guide, and encourage Muslimahs to make Islaam the focal point and center of their lives, the foundation for all that they do.
We are currently finishing up the explanation of the hadeeth of Jibreel, aleihi salaam, and will be beginning Understanding Islam, the Solution for the Trials of Life by Sheikh Saalih al-Fawzaan.
We will be beginning Sheikh Fawzaan’s book on March 3, 2018, insh’Allaah, but you can enter the class at any time, as it is ongoing.
