So the one who abandons, does
not act upon the Sunnah, and
rejects it, or generally does not act
according to it, has in fact disbelieved
in Islaam. So we ask Allaah for
safety and well-being in our religion.
As such, it is only proper upon those who have memorized the Qur’aan to not neglect it. As neglecting it and turning away from it, until you actually forget what has been memorized, is in reality a significant sin.
